Welcome to the New Life Bible Class

Thank you for visiting the New Life Bible Class @ Liberty Baptist Church online. The NLBC is a class designed specifically for adults of all ages to gain further knowledge from the Word of God and to grow closer to the Saviour. It is the goal of this class that each adult who attends learns of the new life that can be obtained only through Christ. In a day of economic uncertainty, it is a comfort to know that there is a place of hope where joy is renewed and lives are restored; and that place is found in a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether you are looking for a place to grow in your faith, just passing through the area on vacation, or you are already a member please join us this Sunday at 9:45 AM in Building C Room 514.

FINAL LESSON ON "THE LIFE OF CHRIST":

This Sunday we will conclude our study in the Life of Christ with a lesson from Luke 24 on "The Bodily Resurrection of Christ." I have enjoyed this series and hope that you have as well. The following are some summary thoughts from our studies from the last 6 months:

  1. More than anything else, Christ desires our faith to be in Him.
  2. The will of God is not always comfortable, but it is always best.
  3. Jesus is the friend of sinners.
  4. Jesus prayed; how much more should the children of God pray!
  5. All of our emotions where created by God.
  6. Battle temptations with Scripture.
  7. Love the Lord with "ALL."
  8. Christ was concerned with discipleing his converts.
  9. To be a follower of Christ you must take up your cross.
  10. The only way to LIVE is to DIE.

"Life of Christ" Series Coming to A Close

We have been studying in the Gospel of Luke concerning the Life of Christ since the beginning of this year. Through 5 months of intense study, we have really only skimmed the surface of just one of the many books that have been and could be written on Jesus' amazing, sinless life. In the next 5 weeks of study we will be looking at "Jesus' Visit with Zaccheus" (Lk 19a), "Jesus' Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem" (Lk 19b), "Jesus: Betrayed and Tried" (Lk 22), "Jesus' Death on The Cross" (Lk 23), and, finally, "Jesus' Bodily Resurrection" (Lk 24). You will not want to miss a single one of these lessons. My prayer is that through these lessons you will have a stronger understanding of Who Christ really is and that your faith in Him will grow to greater heights. Please join us each Sunday morning at 9:45 in Building C, Room 514!

INTRODUCING: Mr. & Mrs. Chad Crittenton

Congratulations to NLBC members, Erin and Chad Crittenton, on their recent wedding. There will be a "floating" wedding shower in their honor on Friday, June 4th, from 7-8pm in the NLBC room (514) . Chad and Erin are registered at Target & Pampered Chef. We wish this couple many years of marital bliss as they begin their "NEW LIFE" together!
